Lex travelled to Cardiff on Saturday night to see Neon Neon’s live performance of Praxis Makes Perfect. Part theatre performance, part gig – the story was given an interactive structure by playwright Tim Price and director Wils Wilson and held in a warehouse just behind Cardiff station.

The 2 x 180gm vinyl are house inside photographic sleeves that form a snapshot of Jneiro and Khujo. These are then encased in a 4 panel, large scale fold out card poster with an expansive artwork by James Jarvis (Amos Toys).

Neon Neon will be showcasing their National Theatre Wales production of Praxis Makes Perfect in Theatre and Dance. Alan Moore & Mitch Jenkins headline the Artists area with an In Conversation as well as screening their short films – Act of Faith and Jimmy’s End. Crook & Flail (Doseone & Andrew Broder) will be performing in Film and Music – expect to hear live versions of their soundtrack to Moore & Jenkins’ short films and more.

Gruff Rhys and Boom Bip unveiled the first track from their new Neon Neon album, Praxis Makes Perfect via the Guardian. They have also announced a new run of London dates at Village Underground in association with the Barbican.
Together they were also interviewed by South London Hardcore about their inspiration behind the project and Alan’s relationship with Steve Moore, the man behind the story.
