Alan Moore & Mitch Jenkins ‘Unearthing’ – Interview Preview & Live Shows

The first of a 3 part preview / interview with Alan Moore & Mitch Jenkins discussing Unearthing – available as a box set to pre-order now from Lex online shop. The story focuses on the life of fellow comic-book writer Steve Moore (no relation) but also exploring themes important to both their work, time and history – personal, natural and supernatural – up to the present day. Alan Moore has confirmed that a sequel, Earthing will follow.

Over two nights in late July, Alan Moore will be reading Unearthing live in a unique London venue – long forgotten railway storage vaults underneath Waterloo Station. These have been reopened and are now curated by The Old Vic Theatre. Previous productions in this space include Punchdrunk Theatre’s Tunnel 228.

He will be accompanied by Adam Drucker and Andrew Broder (aka Crook&Flail) + guests, performing a live musical score. Words and music will be framed by a visual narrative from photographer / director Mitch Jenkins.
